Haven Hills Farm Mission
Haven Hills LLC aims to foster a regenerative farming coalition through using farming practices that include soil mitigation strategies, pollinator corridors, and grazing livestock to not only aid in Boulder’s regenerative farming efforts but also address climate change while providing outdoor education and mental health services.
What is Regenerative Agriculture?
Regenerative agriculture is a crucial solution to not only mitigate climate change, but also reverse carbon accumulation in the atmosphere and improve soil health. According to the Rodale Institute, if all agriculture were converted to regenerative agriculture, all of current annual CO2 emissions could be captured.
Regenerative agriculture is based in indigenous science and increases biodiversity and improves food, air, and water quality. Haven Hills would cultivate bees to provide local honey and create pollinator corridors, hay alfalfa for local farms, sustain an orchard for pesticide-free produce, and house goats, dairy cows and chickens all of which represent farming that is healthy for humans and the planet.
